Where else can a person find a career that makes him an indentured slave who qualifies for food stamps and it might force you to lose your life or kill others ?
The Hunger Game books are popular with young people because in real life, young people are forced to kill other young people or live in poverty -- they must kill or live in poverty.
So much for a military career - though I hear officers have it better.
Yes - LOVE the military - why not love a career that can get you killed while qualifying for food stamps.

Dude I'm an artist, not an expert on casualties of war. At this point I don't wish to join the Military, I draw/pant because it's my hobby & passion. You can shame me for whatever you want, you can shame me for my art, but you don't see me draw/paint soldiers killing each other or soldiers executing civilians. That is disgusting, and I wished it wouldn't happen in war. But I accept the fact of life, because no one much less me can prevent civilian casualties in war!
If you don't wanna join the military but love to draw and paint, then why not draw and paint something else? Not trying to diss you, just saying you don't make any sense.
